As we start our preparations for the National Finals at Cheltenham we are looking for permanent players to fill vacancies in our cornet section, second horn and principal euphonium.
We currently sit joint top of the first section table going into next year, and are hoping to achieve another fine result at the Midlands area next year to take us into Championship Section. We rehearse twice a week in our purpose built band room in the village of Kibworth, South Leicestershire under the baton of our Musical Director, Brendan Caddy.
We are looking for either a front row or repiano cornet player as players we have are flexible to move within the section.
Unfortunately our 2nd horn player has recently taken a step back to focus on family commitments so are looking for someone to fill this well attended section of the band.
Finally we are looking for someone to fill the Principal Euphonium chair on a permanent basis. This would be joining another dedicated section with a strong mix of youth and experience.
